Talent management is a year-round cycle that begins with the Employee Development Dialog, which takes place once a year, where employees and their managers discuss the employee’s behavior, performance, potential and skills. An individual development plan is an optional component during the dialog and provides support with defining and planning personal development. The results of this dialog form the basis for discussion at the subsequent Global Talent Reviews. These reviews serve as a platform for exchanging information across all departments with the aim of identifying and confirming employees with potential, initiating individual development and carrying out succession planning.
